The last week of October we finished the month out with Red Ribbon Week; a national program that supports drug awareness. The students took full advantage of spirit week by wearing their bright clothes, boots/crazy socks, aloha wear, crazy hats, and Halloween colors.
Additionally, we asked each classroom to decorate their class doors in support of our theme “Love Yourself, Be Drug Free.” We had two retired Fremont Police Officers and an FUSD Trustee come to our campus on Halloween to judge the door decorations. Congratulations to rooms R-23 and D-22 for winning the door decorating contest!
All classrooms received a certificate of participation and the winning classrooms received $50 for the teacher to use on classroom supplies. Congratulations to all classrooms that participated!
